Black Mount is one of 33 Community Councils in the South Lanarkshire and acts on behalf of local residents in the settlements of Dunsyre, Dolphinton, Elsrickle, Greenshiels, Newbigging, Walston, Weston, Candy Mill, Libberton and the surrounding area.
We meet monthly to discuss matters, such as planning applications, which directly impact on our local communities.
Our purpose is to make sure that the views of this community are heard by all public bodies acting on our behalf and to promote and support initiatives to improve the place we live in.
